Characteristics of Sirloin
Located near the lumbar vertebrae, sirloin is one of the finest, most tender cuts within the loin. Its name comes from the delicious flavor that earned it the noble title of "Sir." Compared to ribeye, sirloin contains less excess fat but has fine marbling, offering a refined balance of fat and lean meat flavor.
We highly recommend enjoying it as a steak.

About Toyonishi Beef
In 2013, Toyonishi Beef was branded to share the delicious taste of Tokachi beef with the local community, Hokkaido, and eventually, all of Japan. This brand represents our pride and responsibility. Toyonishi beef comes from Holstein bulls, most of which are born locally in Tokachi and raised with great care on our farm.
For forage, we use dent corn and wheat straw cultivated on our farm, and our original blend feed is specially formulated in seven stages to suit each phase of development. We also use fermented feed made from Tokachi’s agricultural products, including rice bran, ensuring our cattle are raised with the utmost attention to their diet.
Toyonishi Beef is Rich in Oleic Acid
The oleic acid content in Holstein Toyonishi beef is close to that of Japanese Wagyu, at 48.1%, which is 4.5% higher than the average Holstein beef. Oleic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid, is known for its ability to lower LDL cholesterol in the blood and help prevent arteriosclerosis and hypertension.
Enjoy the exceptional flavor of "Toyonishi Beef," packed with the richness of lean meat nurtured with care on the vast land of Hokkaido. Relish the juicy, firm texture and the concentrated flavor of natural beef in every bite!
