Hokkaido Tokachi Local Soda 6-Bottle Set

Each of these "Tokachi Local Sodas" showcases the unique characteristics and charming stories of various regions within Tokachi, Hokkaido. This set includes 6 bottles, each representing a distinct, flavor-rich local soda, delivered as a set of six.

What is Tokachi Local Soda?
To promote Tokachi through local products, we brainstormed ideas and eventually decided on creating local sodas. In the fall of 2012, we developed and released a prototype of the "Tokachi Winery Grape Juice Soda" (now "Ikeda Grape Soda") inspired by Tokachi wine from Ikeda Town.

In the following fall of 2013, with a group of supporters in Hiroo Town, we released the "Hiroo Ocean Merry" soda, marking the beginning of a serious push to create local sodas. This enthusiasm led to the establishment of the "Tokachi Local Soda Research Association," which continues to this day.

Our goal is to further develop local sodas that capture each region’s unique character and charm, with municipalities working together to make Tokachi known across Japan.

・Obihiro Beet Soda (240ml) × 1
Made primarily from beets and beet sugar, this ruby-colored soda has a nostalgic sweetness and is easy to drink for all ages. Best enjoyed well-chilled.

・Ashoro Onneto Blue Soda (240ml) × 1
From Ashoro Town, inspired by the mystique of Lake Onneto’s manganese sediment, this soda evokes the sensation of a forest bath. Best enjoyed well-chilled, with the refreshing scent of Sakhalin fir as you open the bottle.

・Nakasatsunai Cheese Whey Soda (240ml) × 1
Upon opening, enjoy the light scent of yogurt. This unique soda is made using whey, a byproduct of cheese production. Best enjoyed well-chilled.

・Hiroo Salt Soda (240ml) × 1
From Hiroo, a town on the Pacific coast, comes this soda with a hint of salt, evoking the taste of the sea amid its sweetness. Chill well before enjoying, as the saltiness will taste milder. It’s ideal for hot days from early summer to early fall and even helps with salt replenishment on sunny days. This soda also pairs well as a mixer with white wine or shochu.

A soda made in the wine town of Ikeda, using locally grown grapes, with a faintly tart, wine-like aroma. Try mixing it with Tokachi brandy for an adult cocktail!

・Makubetsu Strawberry Soda (240ml) × 1
A premium soda made with fully ripe strawberries from Makubetsu’s strawberry farms. Savor the natural sweetness of strawberries and the refreshing taste of soda. Best enjoyed well-chilled.
